Details (Description): The Avengers #1 Minimates box set contains Iron Man in his original gold armor, the winged Wasp, the diminutive Ant-Man and the Jack Kirby-style Incredible Hulk. Also included with each set are all of the pieces necessary to transform your Avengers Minimates into some of their alternate costumes and secret identities (pictured below).
Iron Man: Clad in boxy gold armor, Iron Man features a weapon attachment, and a removable helmet to reveal the likeness of Tony Stark. A wounded prisoner, Tony Stark confounded his Communist captors by constructing an injury-sustaining breastplate and a suit of armor that facilitated his daring escape. Eventually Stark fully mechanized the armor, developing the alter ego of Iron Man.
Ant-Man: Ant-Man's costume can be modified to portray that of Giant Man, and both versions can be unmasked to reveal the likeness of Hank Pym. Discovering and harnessing Pym-particles, Hank Pym manipulated size and mass, which allowed him to develop superhero altar egos, among which were Ant-Man and Giant-Man.
The Wasp: The Wasp figure can be modified to reflect the Wasp's changes in appearance over the decades. Drawing upon Pym-particles, the Wasp is able to manipulate her size and mass. The Wasp's miniature form is accompanied by a pair of translucent insect wings, and can fly at speeds up to 40 mph; additionally the Wasp is capable of shaping her bioelectric energy into a concussive blast.
The Hulk: The Hulk is clad in tattered pants. The Hulk was a tentative member of the group during the Avengers' formative stage. Initially the Hulk was manipulated by Loki, but did not destroy Thor as Loki had intended. The Hulk instead joined Iron Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp in an offensive against Loki. Shortly thereafter, however, the Hulk left the group but was still considered a part of the roster for a while.
