| NHL 29 takes the ice with a lineup sure to please hockey fans everywhere. Alex Ovechkin arrives in a brand new sculpt, while clutch scorers Alex Burrows and Steven Stamkos make their Sports Picks debuts. Patrick Kane has a new pose, while Hall of Fame goalie Terry Sawchuk is available in Toronto’s white jersey for the first time. Steven Stamkos has tallied 96 goals over the past two seasons, more than any other NHL player. We don’t know EXACTLY how many goals he’ll score next season, but we do know he’ll be doing it in a NEW Tampa uniform. The Lightning are changing their uniforms, and Stamkos’ figure will reflect the uniform he’d going to wear next year. NHL 29 has a strong influence from McFarlane’s Collector Level – Stamkos, Burrows and Kane all have Collector Level figures in alternate uniforms, while Terry Sawchuk’s Collector Level figure is in his old Detroit Red Wings jersey. |
